Battler, Diane (Howells):

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 77.

Beloved wife of 57 years of Dave.
Cherished mother of Denise Battler-Lee (Carole Black) and Darren (Marisa).
Loving Grandma of Annamaria and Daniel Battler.
Dear sister of Arleen (Andy) Krol and Robert Howells.
Brother-in-law of Phyllis Boltz “Charity Brown” and Harvey Boltz (Linda).
Predeceased by her brother Daniel, sister-in-law of Janice McKay and her parents Arthur and Aileen Howells.
Diane leaves behind her many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In keeping with Diane’s wishes, her body was donated to Western University.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, on Diane’s birthday, Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
